Advent laptop will not turn on

its an advent 9617,i have had it less than 6 months from new,it switched off when i was working couple of days ago,i managed to get it going again,and shut down fully when finished,since then nothing it will not turn on at all,no fans,no sounds,nothing,the charger is ok as i tried it on someone elses,tried removing battery,pressing various ons,discharging static etc but nothing,it is going back to the shop but i have loads of pics i want off it,any ideas?
