Why is the theory of evolution so misunderstood?

Misinformed individuals spreading the message like wildfire. Many people who follow evolution or darwinism aren't fuly informed on the matter and continue to perpetuate false information and confusing everyone else in the process. Today we call that "common knowledge". It may be common but it isn't always factual.
