Gerbera Daisy plant-flowers drooping?

I bought a gerbera daisy plant 2 weeks ago. It was beautiful. The leaves are lush and the flowers were big and high. But when I came home today, the flowers collapsed down and are almost touching the table. The flowers themselves are still bright and not wilted at all. it just seems like the stem weakened. All the flowers are like it on the plant. But the leaves are lush and the flowers themselves look fine. What happened in a few hours?? How can I fix it. The soil is still wet. They're not dry.
