How many goldfish can i keep?

The common rule of thumb for freshwater is an inch and a half of fish per gallon. But you also have to consider that goldfish are very dirty fish. Also, you can easily intoduce your fish into a pond, but I would wait until spring, if you introduce them now they wont be able to go to hibernation mode, unless their is a heater in the water, just remember to float them in the bag for about 20minutes before releasing them.
