What is the better van DODGE or CHEVROLET?

I want a Chevy Astro but I hear that simmilar Doge/Chrystler models may tend to be longer running and higher quality. I don't know if that's true but I'm not a motor head. I just really don't want a soccer mom van with a hatch in the back. I just want a sweet little hippie box van, ya know? Please mention model names so I can scope it out. Thanks a lot.
